Trivia
- The usual opening song Stand! was left off the release because of technical problems at the start of the 1970 show.
- Jermaine's vocal microphone was off and his bass amplifier could not be heard, so the show was stopped for several minutes while the sound crew fixed it.
- Mama's Pearl on disc one comes from the group's concert in Indiana on May 29, 1971, and is one of five unreleased songs from that concert.
- Ain't No Sunshine was recorded the night after most of disc two was recorded, at the San Diego International Sports Arena on August 27, 1972, and was edited into Michael's solo set on the album.
- The 1972 show took place three days before Michael's 14th birthday, and his voice was in transition.
