Reception
At release
- Canadian release used mono audio only
- Stereo record players were not popular in Canada at the time, so a stereo pressing was judged unprofitable
- Early copies were sold with a black and white promotional picture marked with the phrase "exclusive Capitol Records recording stars"
- Early copies were also manufactured with a limited edition 8x10 inch poster of the Beatles
- The single She Loves You reached the top of the Toronto CHUM chart in December 1963, and this album highlights that song
